Who Figured Something Out.
Two bartenders. Three kids. Opposite schedules. A crockpot. And a pandemic that somehow changed everything.
How it started
Two bartenders, three kids, and a crockpot that saved dinnertime.
Haily and Daniel spent years behind the bar. It's the kind of work you love — but it owns your schedule. They were ships in the night, trading off with three kids, barely sitting down for dinner together.
When they moved back to Northeast Ohio in 2018 something shifted. They'd always talked about owning a business: a food truck, a restaurant. But with three small kids and bartending hours, it never felt possible.
The crockpot became their lifeline. Dump everything in before the morning rush. Come home to something that smells incredible. They started developing their own seasoning blends — and somewhere in all of it, realized: other families need this too.
So they got serious. Tested recipes. Refined blends. Built a plan. And then, in March 2020, launched their website the same day Governor DeWine shut Ohio down.

Haily & Daniel · Est. Cleveland, Ohio
A husband and wife team with no business experience and a lot of heart.
We didn't come from food industry backgrounds. We didn't have investors or a business plan. We had a crockpot, a kitchen, four kids, and a genuine belief that weeknight dinners shouldn't be stressful.
Every blend you buy was developed right here — tested at our kitchen table, fed to our family first, refined until it was something we were proud of. That hasn't changed since day one, and it never will.
Why Cleveland
This city is in
everything we make.
Haily was born and raised here. Moved away for almost a decade. And when they came back in 2018, she remembered why she loved it — the people, the grit, the food, the pride. Cleveland doesn't do things halfway.
You'll see it in our blends. Chicken Paprikash is a nod to the Hungarian roots that run deep in this city. Cleveland Gumbo, CLE Carnitas, Cleveland Pot Pie — these aren't just product names. They're love letters to a city that shaped who we are.
We're proud to be a Cleveland brand. Not just made here — rooted here. And as we grow, that never changes.

We started with no business experience and a crockpot. Nearly 200,000 packets later, we're building something we hope lasts long beyond us — starting right here in Cleveland.

College campuses.
A mission we didn't plan.
In October 2025, we met a college professor at a farmers market. She ran her campus's student food pantry and had just received a grant to purchase crockpots for students in need. She planned to fill them with recipe cards and canned goods — until she found us.
Her first order was 500 packets. It went over so well she referred us to other colleges. We've now supplied multiple campuses with over 3,000 packets — more than 18,000 meals for students who needed them. The colleges purchase our blends at a discounted rate, making it a program that's built to last.
College campus food insecurity is a bigger problem than most people realize. Students are going hungry. A crockpot and a Crock'n CLE blend can change that in a real, practical way. We're just getting started on this one.
