Crockpot Directions
Add chicken, carrots, water, and the packet to crockpot. Lightly season with salt if desired. Cover. Cook. During the last 1-2 hours, cut each biscuit into 6-8 pieces and add to crockpot. Stir gently and cook until biscuits are tender and broth thickens. Shred chicken before serving.
Alternative Cooking Method
Instant Pot: Add chicken, carrots, water, and packet. Cook HIGH pressure 15 minutes. Quick release and shred chicken. Cut biscuits into pieces, drop in, set to saute and simmer covered 10 minutes until dumplings are cooked through.
