What You'll Need
2 lbs ground beef · 2 eggs · 1/2 cup water · BBQ sauce or ketchup for topping
Suggested Pairings
Mashed potatoes, green beans, roasted carrots, and extra ketchup or brown gravy on the side
Great For
Classic Sunday dinner, feeding the whole family, comfort food nights, cold weather
Crockpot Directions
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, eggs, seasoning packet, salt (if desired), and water. Mix until well combined. Shape mixture into a loaf and place in the crockpot. Tip: Place 4 balls of foil in the bottom of the crockpot to elevate the meatloaf and prevent it from cooking in grease. Cover. Cook. During the last hour of cooking, brush the top with BBQ sauce or ketchup. Let rest a few minutes before slicing. Serve hot with your favorite sides.
Alternative Cooking Method
Oven: Mix all ingredients and form into a loaf pan. Top with ketchup or BBQ sauce glaze. Bake at 350°F for 60-70 minutes until internal temperature reaches 160°F. Rest 10 minutes before slicing.
