Crockpot Directions
Place pork shoulder or chicken in crockpot and season lightly with salt. Sprinkle seasoning packet over the meat. Add pineapple slices and juice from the can. Cover. Cook. Shred meat in the crockpot and mix with the pineapple and cooking juices. Perfect for tacos, rice bowls, or sliders.
Alternative Cooking Method
Instant Pot: Add all ingredients. Cook on HIGH pressure 60 minutes for pork shoulder or 15 minutes for chicken. Natural release 15 minutes. Shred and broil on a sheet pan 5 minutes for crispy caramelized edges.
